Q&A with Jude Hehman

What are you passionate about, in regards to your business?

Watching a project evolve, from a concept to completion of a building is a moment you sit back a say, “I am proud of this”.  Many people and businesses have put their faith in our team to provide the best service while being conscience of their capital expense but still providing a stellar end result that everyone can be happy with and say, ” We did that”!

What is the most valuable leadership lesson you have learned?

Treat people the way you want to be treated.  Value the people around you!  You are only as good as the people with whom you surround yourself. This is my motto for both personal and professional life. To achieve your goals you need help. Success in life is influenced by the people you surround yourself with and with whom you spend time.  If you are motivated or challenged by the people around you, you will set higher goals and achieve those goals with those supporting you. This influence can be just as detrimental if you are being harmed by discouraging remarks, people who are holding your back. I want to succeed, but moreover, I want to help the people I love and care about recognize success as well.  I hope they can draw on my strengths to succeed in their goals along with me.

If you could give the 20-year-old you any piece of advice, what would it be?

Do more listening. Work hard, ask more questions of how and why.  Set goals and start looking ahead, think about the next step, why and how it happens. Then listen again. Lead with strength and humility. Your time to enjoy success will come; but only to those who will listen and learn.download
