Q&A with Adam Ruschman
What are you passionate about, in regards to your business?
Customer service. That is the one thing that can distinguish you in my field. You are working on people’s homes and businesses – it is important to them. You need to be a good listener and be reliable. Trust is very important.
What is the most valuable leadership lesson you have learned?
You need to lead by example. You don’t always have to be a leader who leads with lots of words, but I try to lead by action. Act in a way that colleagues, my athletes and my children want to follow.
If you could give the 20-year-old you any piece of advice, what would it be?
Set goals – then work towards achieving those goals, even if it is something small. It’s easier to get to the finish line if you know what you are trying to achieve.
